These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vine & Branch website at vineandbranch.health. By using this website, you agree to these Terms. These Terms do not constitute a clinical agreement — clinical relationships are established only through a signed patient agreement after intake.

About Vine & Branch

Vine & Branch PLLC is a Tennessee-licensed psychiatric practice founded by Dr. Sarah McLaughlin. The practice is licensed to provide care in Tennessee. We are not licensed to provide care in states where Dr. McLaughlin does not hold an active license.

The service we provide

Through our website, we offer:

• Information about our practice, philosophy, fees, and process
• A path to inquire about becoming a patient
• Long-form essays on integrative psychiatric care

Our website does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information on this site is for general informational purposes and should not be construed as a substitute for professional medical care.

What's not included

The following are not provided through this website or by Vine & Branch:

• Emergency care
• Prescription of controlled substances (stimulants, benzodiazepines, opioids, sleep medications)
• Care for patients located outside Tennessee
• Care covered by insurance or Medicare
• Treatment of pediatric patients

Fees and payments

Our fees are published openly on the Our Care page. By becoming a patient, you agree to the fee structure as published. The annual practice fee is non-refundable after thirty days. The initial consultation deposit is non-refundable. Specific terms governing your clinical relationship are detailed in the patient agreement you receive at intake.

Cancellation and termination

You may end your patient relationship with Vine & Branch at any time by providing written notice. Refund terms are governed by the patient agreement. We reserve the right to end a clinical relationship if it is not in your best interest, if clinical safety concerns arise, or if there is a breach of the practice's policies.

Limitation of liability

Vine & Branch and Dr. Sarah McLaughlin are providing professional psychiatric care to the best of our ability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. This limitation does not waive any rights you have under applicable law for professional negligence.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Tennessee.
